 Looks like Sean Puffy Combs is gonna have to do something to clean up his past. New York officials seemed determined to trip him up. They are now claiming that a 9mm handgun was tossed from Puffy's car as he sped away from the scene of the shooting that took place a few weeks ago. Puffy is steadfastly maintaining his innocence. he insists that as this case unfolds he will be completely exonerated..In the meantime all sorts of folks are starting to keep their distance. Donald Trump who is known for hanging out with Puff recently told papers that he 'doesn't know him that well'. There was a report of Puff having a meeting with BET executives in which they too expressed their disappointment in his behavior. As a result, they too may start to distance themselves. It appears to be quite obvious that Jennifer Lopez is trying to do damage control by stepping North.. Unfortunately that may be too late.. She will always be connected to the Puffster. Already the pair are becoming the butt of jokes.. Did anyone see the skit Saturday Night Live did on Puffy and Jennifer? Comedian Jamie Fox was mad funny with his imitation of Puff.. Sadly enough within his jokes were some truths that can't be avoided. Puff is always at the wrong place at the wrong time and he's always praising BIG. The ironic thing is BIG would probably never gotten himself in so much hot water... Puffy's contract runs out next year.. Do you think it will get renewed? There's talk about his label wanting to cut ties because of all the drama. Remember the thing that really set this whole thing off was Puffy's aloof attitude. It irked people and got them asking "Who does he think he is? Why's he looking down on me?" . When you got it going on, ya got to be more humble.. That's the bottom line. Even if Puffy escapes jail time and defeats these charges, the damage will be done. He's being tried in the court of Public opinion and folks ain't feeling him. His boy Shyne who he publicly fought hard to sign after a major bidding war his charged with attempted murder. Puff upset people when he signed Shyne because homeboy sounds like Biggie who was revered within rap circles. Now that his boy is up on charges, Puffy either has to come to his aid which embroils him even further into this incident, or he has to distance himself which will make him look like a punk and a fair whether friend. His next move should be to go to the people and ask for their forgiveness and understanding. He has to put away the fur coats and shiny suits and let everyone know he got caught up and maybe he can turn this thing around. We'll keep you posted as things develop.. Hopefully Puffy cleans up his closet, because as things unfold all sorts of skeletons are gonna come out the closet... Puff always publicly evokes the name of God. This will be one time he will have to go behind closed doors and really pray to help straighten things out.. |
